Rasa/Ashtanga yoga: Mindfulness, Meditation, and the eight- fold path
Bhakti Yoga: devotional yoga (Kiritan & Mantra)
Karma Yoga: The yoga of right action. The sacred art of doing one's duty.
Styles of yoga we offer
HATHA YOGA
Yoga designed to align the mind body and spirit. We move at a slower and more deliberate pace with focus on depth of holds and alignment
VINYASA YOGA
Vinyasa classes are described as linking breath with movement. Often they involve a repeated series of poses and increasing body heat, creating a space to sweat and detoxify, while building strength.
YIN YOGA
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice in which yoga poses are held for several minutes. Classically practiced with muscles disengaged, we practice both passive and active yin based on new science behind fascial health, safety of tendons and ligaments, and the science of stretching.
RESTORATIVE YOGA
Restorative Yoga is a passive form of yoga meant to elicit a neutral response in the body or little or no sensation. Restorative is all about support. Restorative yoga is designed to balance the nervous system and help bring the body and mind into a resting state. We utilize ALL the props for this class to help you relax as much as possible
SOUND HEALING
Often paired with restorative or yin yoga this practice utilizes the healing vibrational qualities of sound waves. Because our bodies are approximately 60% water, we are strong conductors for sound waves. With sound healing, the principle of resonance is used to harmonize cells, and can potentially re-tune them to their baseline vibrational frequency. Come give this practice a try!
