June, Strawberry Moon Monthly Mantra

Strawberry New Moon in Gemini ~ June 6th 8:38am

The June moon cycle is often referred to as the Strawberry moon (by the time the full moon comes). Historically, the June moon is associated with LOVE. Perhaps this seems odd as the western world heralds February as the month of love. However, looked at through a Pagan lens, this new moon is the 3rd new moon of the Pagan year and coincides with the re-energizing of your spirit after a long winter (summer in southern hemisphere).

When planting a seed of intention for this new moon, it is fortuitous to do so at least 24 hours after the new moon has come together. So the day to plant your seed of intention for this new moon is June 7th. Think of it as the sun & the moon holding hands; an egg and sperm coming together, a seed/connection made.  In this moon cycle reach for what you want to plant in terms of love.

The season of Gemini marks a time of communication: of speaking, listening, and connecting. When you think about it…those 3 elements are ingredients for love~

Take the word below that follows your sun sign and meditate on how the word can be an ingredient for an intention created with love. If you know your moon and rising, feel free to use all three…It is after all the 3rd new moon of the Pagan year, Gemini is the 3rd sign of the Zodiac, and 3 is the number associated with Jupiter, the planet of luck.

Find your sun sign and take the word across from it and meditate on what it means to you. If you feel called, ask Spirit to guide you. Journal about it. Intend to look for ways it ‘shows’ up to you. On the day of the new moon write your intention utilizing the word below but tailored to you.

Plant the ‘seed’ of your intention or prayer on Friday June 7th~i.e  A Leo Sun/Aries Moon/ Virgo Rising may write “ I associate what I am hearing to plant the seeds of inventing my most miraculous business partnership”

Ways to plant ‘seeds’

Write on a piece of paper what you would like to grow. Fold 4 times away from yourself and place in fertile soil, or place in a God/Goddess/Spirit/Universe box/alter.

Write in your journal what you would like to grow. Attempt to keep your journal in a sacred space. Treat this journal kindly, keep it in a clean space, don’t throw it amongst clutter, nurture it and what it holds~

If you have oracle cards, pulling one after you write your international is a great visual to have in conjunction. Keep card on your alter or somewhere you can see it often until the next new moon cycle.
