The new moon is an ancient marker of planting beginnings~ Farmers used this time to fill the dark space of the soil with seeds. It was thought that animals would be less likely to dig up what was planted.  Much of social media suggests manifesting at the full moon, but two days after the new moon is actually the best time to plant seeds for growth & change & to keep the metaphorical ‘animals’ at bay. 

Some ways to plant ‘seeds’

Write on a piece of paper what you would like to grow. Fold 4 times (four is for foundation) away from yourself and place in fertile soil, or in your sacred space, box, or altar. 

Write in your journal what you would like to grow. Keep your journal kindly, keep it in a clean and sacred space, so as to nurture it and what it holds.

While we experience the new moon on May 8th, the best time to plant our metaphorical seeds is May 10th 2024 (day of Venus…Taurus is ruled by Venus as is the day Friday) i.e a Virgo may write ‘I experience my career with a new vantage that involves financial security and creative joy’
